Fuchsia a colour born from the 16th century Fuchsia plant made by combining red, purple and pink is used for the matrix of this piece, the intention is to evoke safety, acceptance and love. In some regions fuchsia is a symbol of temperance and patience. The yellow and black patterns are symbolic of the different languages, cultures, religions and countries throughout the world. The coloured balls are used as personification, an indication of people, we are all Different but the same.
