Description

Cool colours such as blue and green have been used to represent vegetation and water in this piece and also creating the perception of depth and distance. The red represents the fires that destroy vegetation whilst concurrently acting as a metaphor for violence against nature and its inhabitants. The hints of dingy yellow is associated with decay and sickness. The mixed media objects represent the efforts being made to combat the issues surrounding the dying of the earth. If we all work together, we can stop nature from becoming Endangered.

Materials: Acrylic paint on canvas, fabric, buttons, wooden beadsย
